3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF INSULATION TO KEEP YOUR HOME WARMER

External Wall Insulation

Without external wall insulation, nearly half of your heat is lost through the walls. This isn’t just burning money unnecessarily – especially with surging energy costs nowadays – but also contributes to environmental damage through CO2 emissions.

Cavity Wall Insulation

Cavity walls are made of two brick layers with a gap (or cavity) in-between them. If your home doesn’t have cavity wall insulation, your central heating is basically working overtime to generate heat of which 35% will escape straight through your cavity walls.

Loft Insulation

Loft insulation reduces heat loss through your roof, increasing your home’s thermal efficiency. This means:

  • The heat you generate won’t just disappear the second you turn your radiators or heaters off

  • You’ll reduce your household’s carbon footprint
